The project of 'memento vivere,' or 'life, now' may address any human anywhere but need not necessarily exclude non-human life forms such as non-human animals and even non-human intelligence (even, e.g., A.I.). 

A most pressing and absorbing situation for memento vivere is that of living within and interaction with "memetica ecologica" -- an all-encompassing "ecology" of "information" both quantitatively and qualitatively that defines the real in which "we live, and move, and have our being."'
